INGREDIENTS
1/2 cup old-fashioned oats
1 teaspoon cinnamon
pinch of salt
1 cup of water, non-dairy milk, or a blend of both
1/2 cup dried cranberry
1/2 cup mixed trail nuts (peanuts, almonds, and cashews)
Sprinkle with chocolate chips (optional)
INSTRUCTIONS
Add oats and a pinch of salt to a pot. Add water and stir to combine. Heat over medium-high heat for 8-10 minutes or until all the liquid has been absorbed. You’ll know the oatmeal is done when all the liquid is absorbed and the oats are thick.
Portion oats into a bowl and serve with maple syrup, dried blueberries, and dried cranberries
Serving Suggestion: Add chocolate chips and/or your choice of fruit on top if desired.
Variation Tip: This is a great breakfast that will fill you up for the day!
